Tarangire National Park

Located 121km through a tarmac road from Arusha city, whose name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the same national park, covers an area of 2850 km 2. The Park is relatively untouched wilderness paradise that extends to every traveler a very cordial welcome whether visiting it for a day trip or having an overnight, has something for everyone. Being one of the finest birding destinations, the park is impressively splendid and a notable safari destination for its vast wildlife concentration; animals like eland, giraffe, lions, buffalo, cheetah, leopards and zebra are easily spotted hunting when you are on a four-wheel drive.
