Uganda the Pearl of Africa
Named by Winston Churchill as the “Pearl of Africa in 1908 in his book (African Travel Journey), Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa whose diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Boarded by Kenya in East, Tanzania in South, and Rwanda and D.R. Congo in the West and South Sudan in the North.
