On the shores of Lake Tanganyika, the oldest and deepest lakes in the world lies a pristine and remote park; the Mahale National Park. Formerly created to protect the thousands of chimpanzees that are residents in the region, Mahale Mountains National Park is renowned for its fantastic sunset over Lake Tanganyika, which makes it an essential stop for most photographers and safari enthusiasts.
