All about the 3 Days safari in Serengeti National Park.

The intimate wildlife itineray for the 3 days holiday trip in Tanzania specifically includes exploring the spectacular landscape plains and wildlife treasures of Serengeti National Park that entails witnessing the great wildebeest migration in Northern region and game drives, viewing the enormous amount of big cat game (lions, leopards and cheetah) in plenty in the central region of Serengeti National Park.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport/Arusha| 2 nights: Serengeti National Park

  1. Day 1 Meet, greet and transfer to Northern Serengeti National Park region,

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by a member from Goldrock Safaris-Africa who will drive you to Arusha Airport for a transfer flight to Kogatende Airstrip in Serengeti national Park. Arusha Airport is situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.

While on a flight, as you enter the national park, the plains begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead for adventure. Upon your flight arrival, you will be met by a representative from Goldrock Safaris-Africa and the safari camp for a transfer to the lodge. Settle in for a relax after a long day and night of flight travel and then have your lunch at the lodge. The later evening is eventually a great timing for a game drive.

  2. Day 2 Serengeti National Park (Full day game drive)

After breakfast, depart for a full day game drive starting around 9:00AM with possibility of lunch delivery from the safari camp or packed lunch and return back to lodge in the evening around 6:00 PM. In the months between mid-June to september the migration can be found in this region. From mid-June to September, the Mara River in this region offers the most dramatic river crossing of the great migration. Fierce, deep and heavily rain fed the river takes an enormous toll on the migrating wildebeest. Watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow, some drowning and a few falling prey to lurking crocodiles is an unforgettable sight. If it’s your lucky day you will be able to witness this natural wonder and watch nature take its course. Tracing the great migration, you might even move towards the Lobo valley. The pristine lobo valley is scattered with woodlands, plains, hills and famous granite Kopjes. It offers an enormous amount of big cat game with lions, leopards and cheetah in plenty. During the dry season the permanent water sources in the valley attract plenty of resident and migratory animals, resulting in excellent game viewing. During the full day game drive, you will have a stop where you can have your picnic lunch. The day comes to an end with a tasty dinner and a good rest at the safari camp.

  3. Day 3 Transfer from Serengeti national Park for a departure flight

Enjoy an early morning around 9:00AM, head for a game drive and a tantalizing breakfast before being driven back to the airstrip to Kilimanjaro, where we wave a fond farewell to you as you board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight onward.
